WAY-FM and World Vision Renew Ministry Partnership

(Colorado Springs, CO)  WAY-FM and World Vision announce the renewal of their extensive partnership for an additional year. The agreement covers joint ministry efforts whereby the two organizations will continue to share various marketing opportunities and strategies.

Once again, a national concert tour will be an element of the joint partnership. The tour will run in the early winter of 2010 and will visit 10 – 12 of the markets WAY-FM serves. It also includes WAY-FM air personalities visiting the field work World Vision does in international settings. This gives them a unique perspective when discussing child sponsorships during focused on-air fundraising events.

World Vision President Rich Stearns commented, "We are thrilled to continue this unprecedented ministry partnership.  WAY-FM is a strong Christian voice serving the communities in which they broadcast and World Vision is honored to serve with them in this important Kingdom work."

“The overall relationship between World Vision and WAY-FM has been outstanding. Our listeners have enjoyed getting to know the ministry and heart of both staff members and artists associated with World Vision. The joint tour we did last winter was a huge success and I really look forward to another year of working together.” noted Lloyd Parker, WAY-FM Chief Operating Officer.
