Message From Bob

WAY-FM continues to roll out new ways to connect with our listeners and hopefully gain new listeners even from people who live in cities where a local WAY-FM radio station does not yet exist. Now, iPhone users can download the official WAY-FM iPhone app and listen to any one of our 20 WAY-FM radio stations anywhere….any time. To get it, just search for “WAY-FM” in the App Store on your iPhone or in iTunes.

Since my previous update to you a few months ago, literally thousands more young people and adults have joined one of our many Facebook Fan pages. Brant has over 10,000 folks connecting with him on all sorts of topics that help shape his morning show every day. Wally and Donna are also able to interact more on life, music and faith through Facebook and Twitter. I am excited about these avenues of communication but nothing still excites me more than hearing how lives are being changed……sometimes in very dramatic ways. Here’s a few examples.

I'm 14 years old and I listen to this station every morning. The uplifting songs that are played motivate me and get me ready for the day ahead of me. After I started listening to WAY-FM I started going to church more often and I've started going to Sunday School. A  few of my  Christian friends and I started a bible study class before school starts. We usually have at least sixty people there every day. I think this station may have saved me from drifting away from Christ. Thank you WAY-FM!

 I'm 21, recently gotten back into college. One day I happened to email a guy in one of my classes about an assignment. My email signature said something about being lost and alone, when he replied he said "Oh believe me you're not lost and alone, Jesus is right there, just call out. He'll show up quick." I told him how I wasn't sure of that. We emailed back and forth on the subject of God and Church. Since then he has became a great friend and has introduced me to his church, burnt CD's of songs he listens to and told me about WAY-FM. One day I decided to turn to Way-FM and Sanctus Real's "Forgiven" was playing and at that moment I began to cry and the words hit me hard. I now mostly listen to WAY-FM and I was amazed that the music played is actually stuff I like.  I now go to church and love to worship God.

I dont know anything whatsoever about how to make this happen and am reaching out to others who feel this song can spread the Love and Peace of Jesus Christ.
